So many people think that God is not answering their prayers when they are not getting what they requested. However, God hears and answers every prayer we pray.
What we must understand is how God answers prayers ... God answers prayers several ways.
Sometimes God gives direct answers to your prayers.
1) Direct
You ask God for something and He says yes and grants that request.
But sometimes our prayers are denied.
2) Denied
This is when God says no. Remember, no is just as much an answer as yes is. Perhaps God knows that the request you are asking is not in your best interest. Or, even though we may not realize it, perhaps our requests are inappropriate.
But sometimes God delays answering our prayers.
3) Delayed
This is when God says yes, but not now. There may be some changes in your life that need to be made before God grants your requests.
Colossians 4:2 says, "Never give up praying. And when you pray, keep alert and be thankful."
So when you pray, be alert on how God answers your prayers and then Him thanks for being such an awesome God!
